Northey Street City Farm - Brisbane Permaculture Courses & Workshops

Permaculture Courses 2009

PDC | Horticulture | APT | Workshops | Bookings

What is permaculture?
Permaculture is a design system for creating sustainable human environments. It aims to bring food production back to where people live and to develop new, sustainable ways of living in our cities and rural areas.

Northey Street City Farm provides its "living classroom" and experienced permaculturists to help people become confident and competent local food producers and earth healers.

Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC)
The Permaculture Design Certificate gives a good overview of permaculture principles and practice, with an emphasis on design. At Northey Street, we include significant hands-on practical experience as well.

To qualify for a PDC, students need to attend all workshops including four permaculture design workshops, and complete a design project.

Course Dates:
Choose from the following 2009 courses:
Fridays from 30 January to 1 May (now closed), Saturdays 9 May to 15 August (now closed), or Saturdays from 29 August to 28 November, 9 am to 4.30 pm. A two-week intensive PDC will also run from 29 June to 11 July.
